FISH RECOGNITION USING AI
Our products utilize artificial intelligence and specially trained algorithms to count only fish passing through the tunnel. Tests show that TiVA FC counts over 99.5% of the fish passing through the fish counter.
SPECIES IDENTIFICATION
All fish passages are processed in our web platform by a specially trained algorithm that identifies the species of fish. The algorithm has been trained on hundreds of thousands of fish passages, and therefore has a very high accuracy. The automatic species recognition can currently distinguish between up to twelve different species, and we are continuously working toward making it even more advanced.
ADIPOSE FINS AND FUNGUS
It is also possible to determine if a salmon or trout is of cultivated origin as we automatically detect whether the fish has an adipose fin. We can also use algorithms to detect if a fish is affected by fungus.
