WIDESPREAD ATTENTION AT SLUSSEN’S NEW FISHWAY
The TIVA FC fish counter at Slussen’s new fishway has become a media success! Installed in summer 2024, the project engages the public through a dedicated page on fiskdata.se, live streaming, and an upcoming on-site information screen for passersby. Read more →

NEW FISHWAY AT LYCKEBY POWER PLANT
A new slot pass has been constructed at Lyckeby Power Plant to facilitate passage for both strong and weak swimming species. A TiVA FC has been installed for monitoring, and our fish screen with low flow resistance protects downstream fish at the power plant. Read more →

FREE PASSAGE FOR FISH IN LINKÖPING
In the city center of Linköping, a fishway has been constructed to enable free passage for fish after 150 years. The TiVA FC fish counter has confirmed the positive impact on biodiversity, with videos capturing species such as asp, otter, beaver, chub, and tench. Read more →

EXTENSIVE MONITORING AT THE SCREW TURBINE IN FINSJÖ
At the Finsjö Upper Power Plant in the Emån River, a groundbreaking screw turbine was installed in autumn 2023, enabling safe upstream and downstream passages. TIVA has provided an underwater camera and three fish counters with integrated PIT antenna systems. Read more →

NOTABLE CONSERVATION PROJECT IN HARGSÅN
At Hargs Bruk in Hargsån, extensive work has been undertaken to restore fish migration and enhance biodiversity in the area. Both a TIVA FC and TIVA UVC have been installed to monitor the measures. Fish monitoring was also live-streamed on WWF’s website. Read more →

MOBILE INSTALLATION AND RESISTANCE BOARD WEIRS
When fixed structures were lacking for installing the fish counter in the Tommarpsån river, Skåne, a mobile counting tower was used as a free-standing mounting solution in the watercourse. With TIVA’s self-cleaning floating grid, fish are smoothly guided through the counter. Read more →

SOLAR-POWERED FISH MONITORING
For installation in remote areas without power grids, we offer complete packages with solar panels and batteries for off-grid solutions. Thanks to the low energy consumption of our systems, we can provide systems for effective monitoring even in isolated environments. Read more →
